Part D Reading & Your Opinion
D_1
Let’s start by reading through today’s passage.

D_2

Share, Don’t Waste
Many people in the world still suffer from hunger, even though there is enough food. A large amount of crops is produced every year, but it is not shared equally. Also, one third of the food is lost or wasted.
In developing countries, farmers lose their crops due to poor storage. Additionally, food is also lost during transport. In homes and stores, food is often discarded after its best-before date.
Some countries, like France and Spain, are taking action. France donates food, and Spain uses community fridges to share surplus food. Japan holds “World Food Day Month” to raise awareness.
Today, technology helps people share food with apps. This can help reduce food loss. To solve the problem, we all must try to cut down on food waste and use food more wisely.
