LESSON GOAL

Let’s check our lesson goal. In this material, you will practice using the past tense form of the verb “to be”.

GRAMMAR POINT

この教材では、be動詞の過去形について学びます。

Be動詞の過去形は不規則で、am と is の過去形は was となり、 are の過去形は were となります。

e.g., I was tired yesterday.　私は昨日疲れていました。

e.g., He was on the phone.　彼は電話中でした。

e.g., They were heading to the airport.　彼らは空港へ向かっていました。
