Harry, have you heard about what happened to Nutri S. Corp.?
Liam
Hmm, I don’t think so. What happened?
Harry
The company faced public backlash for food poisoning cases because of some of its products.
Liam
Really? That sounds extreme. What happened to them after?
Harry
The company lost 20% of its market share in the aftermath of the incident, as consumers began doubting the safety of eating the company’s products. Some people have also been boycotting its products.
Liam
That’s huge! So, what action did they take to avoid further backlash?
Harry
Nutri S. temporarily halted factory operations to sanitize its facilities and replace old equipment to avoid further trouble downstream.
Liam
That’s probably for the better. Are they also doing something to keep the incident from happening again?
Harry
Yes, they are. I heard that they have also set stricter food handling guidelines in its factory, in its efforts to avoid the same incident from repeating.
Liam
That’s good to hear. I’m hoping all goes well.
