PART B_2

Hi, Emma. The department will be trying the new steakhouse downstairs. Do you wanna come?
Thank you for the invite, Ron. I have to respectfully decline as I don’t eat meat.

Really? Are you a vegetarian?
Yes, I am.

How long have you been doing that?
I have been a vegetarian for almost ten years now. I started this diet way back in high school, as advised by my physician.

What made you do it?
Way back in high school, things got out of hand. I was very anxious about everything. I did a lot of stress-eating, which made me overweight.

I see. It is nice that you were able to maintain that. As for me, eating vegetables only is a bit unimaginable. What does your family say about this?
In the community where I grew up, vegetarians are a dime a dozen like most of the time we only have vegetables to eat.

I see. It was nice knowing that about you, Emma. Maybe next time you can come and eat with us.
