What the World’s Favorite Cartoon Taught Us
The world’s favorite cartoon is more likely to make us smile than burst out laughing. They make us feel good. We will miss them if they are not present, just as we may miss a friend who has gone away.

According to the author, real success in life has nothing to do with money, fame, or power. Instead, it is defined by hope, courage, respect for others, and, most importantly, a sense of humor. He once said that if he had the chance to give something to young people, it would be the ability for each person to learn to laugh at themselves.

The author had continued to draw episodes for nearly 50 years until the publication of his farewell one on February 13, 2000.

The author and his characters helped us face the difficulties of the world with their unique humor and gentle encouragement. The cartoons will continue to be read for many, many years to come.
