A Terrible Test and a Lesson Learned
TUTOR:
Hey Michael, how did the geography test go today? You looked nervous before class.
STUDENT:
Honestly, it was terrible. I hadn’t studied at all. I totally forgot there was a test until I arrived at school this morning.
TUTOR:
Really? I thought you’d been reviewing all week. Didn’t you get to use the study guide?
STUDENT:
Yeah, I got it, but I lost it somehow. And with all the basketball practice, I just kept thinking I’d study later. I never got to it.
TUTOR:
That’s rough. I studied a little every night. My sister helped quiz me. She’s a genius at geography, so it really helped.
STUDENT:
I can imagine. I wish I had done the same. I usually do well in geography, so I feel pretty disappointed. Next time, I need to manage my time better.
