Moreover, the economic partnership agreement between Japan and the Philippines which was signed in 2006 has led to a significant increase in agricultural exports to Japan. Tuna, fresh fruits, and sugar are among those top exports to Japan. The Philippine government aims to increase the line of products being shipped to Japan.
