PART B_2

A World Heritage Site is a place or an area that has cultural, historical, and scientific significance. It is chosen by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
Having a World Heritage Site brings a lot of benefits to a country. One of them is the extra media attention a country receives which leads to an increasing number of tourists. The money they get from the tourists helps them in the preservation of the World Heritage Site. However, for some countries, this also becomes a disadvantage. Because of the extra media attention, tourists often come in flood. Some developing countries find it difficult to handle. As a result, it becomes a major challenge to balance promoting the sites and preserving them.
