Part C_2 Passage reading
Our Ideas Change The Future
Inventing a time machine is my future dream. If I had a time machine, I would meet and talk to great inventors across the ages and the world. People may think I am a dreamer, but new things always begin as dreams.

Traveling by air has interested inventors for centuries. One of the great inventors, Leonardo da Vinci, thought, “I wish I could fly like a bird.”

Aircraft in the early days were ridiculous. People made fun of them. However, they led to modern airplanes.

Two men made the first successful flight in 1903. They are the Wright Brothers. They made a lot of experiments, and they failed. However, they never gave up. They
welcomed the failures.

I found out two important things. First, we should not hesitate to express our original ideas. Second, failures
always teach us something better. Learning from failure is the key to success.
