LESSON GOAL

Let’s check our lesson goal. In this material, you will practice using “that” in sentences. You will also be familiarized with SVOC and SVOO patterns.

この教材では、接続詞の “that” を使って文章を作る練習をします。また、SVOC文型及びSVOO文型の使い方を学びます。

GRAMMAR POINT

この教材では、接続詞の “that” を使って文章を作る練習をします。また、SVOC文型及びSVOO文型の使い方を学びます。

SVOCは、「SはOがCであることを～する」、SVOOは、「SはO（人）にO（物や事）を～する」という形をとる文型を指します。

ex. I encourage my students to study at home as well.　私は生徒に家でも勉強するように勧めている。（SVOC）

ex. I gave him a birthday present.　私は彼に誕生日プレゼントをあげた。（SVOO）
