No Poverty
As of 2020, nearly 10% of the world’s population lives in extreme poverty. They live on less than $1.90 a day. More than 700 million people continue to lack basic necessities such as health care, education, and access to safe drinking water. Hunger, a lack of a clean environment, inadequate healthcare systems, conflict, poor education, and climate change are just a few of the causes.

We must think about and act now to solve the problems because they are intricately related to one another.

In some poor countries, there are children who have to work for a living. Some of those were forced into dangerous jobs as a result of human trafficking. Unfortunately, there are some gender issues, especially for girls and women.

The impacts of climate change
Development has improved the lives of some people. They have easy access to transportation and technology, as well as comfortable living spaces and delicious food. However, at the same time, human activities have been the primary cause of climate change since the 1800s due to the use of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas.

Climate change is now causing severe droughts, water scarcity, devastating fires, rising sea levels, flooding, melting polar ice, catastrophic storms, and biodiversity loss. Unless we take immediate action, this will endanger our lives.
