PART B_2

Nobody on Earth has actually starved to death. Starvation happens when the body runs out of glucose and uses protein for fuel. By this, the body burns protein and makes use of the immune system antibodies. Starving people then becomes highly susceptible to bacteria and viruses, resulting in their deaths due to infectious diseases from lack of protein.

Those who are very fit occasionally experience lighter-fluid problems. When they participate in rigorous sports or events, the muscles run out of sugar. Their energies drop quickly because the burning of fat has ceased. Athletes believe they run out of energy because of the excessive use of sugar, but in reality, they have plenty of “fat energy” left. They constantly look for ways to add sugar to their muscles and mistakenly think that sugar is the primary fuel. That is, however, is incorrect. Sugar is only the starter fluid and fat is the primary fuel.
