PART B_2

Protecting the environment and life on Earth
The environment is very important to all living things, especially to humans. It provides fresh water, clean air, food, home, and other basic needs. Life on Earth depends on nature, so it is humans’ duty to protect it.
One of the ways to protect the environment is to improve how humans manage waste materials such as recycling or throwing away bottles. Many businesses are now joining the race to save the environment. They use environment-friendly and recyclable materials for their products to reduce waste materials. Nowadays, most countries also use power from water and the sun. Using these sources of energy, walking more or using public transportation instead of driving a car can help prevent air pollution.
Planting trees is also an important way to save the environment. Trees improve the quality of air that living things breathe. Their roots also hold the soil together to prevent floods during heavy rains. Cutting down trees can seriously damage the environment and those who depend on it. To prevent this from happening, students should be taught how to protect and clean up the environment. Many schools are now making students plant trees to save the environment and life on Earth. This is a big step towards maintaining a healthy environment for future generations.
