Invisible Super Hard Worker: Semiconductors
Do you know about semiconductors? These are tiny materials that are used in everything that runs on batteries, from smartphones to cars to even artificial intelligence (AI).
Semiconductors have two primary roles. Electrical control and high-speed calculations.
IoT (the Internet of Things) is one example of how semiconductors are used. So-called “smart” refrigerators and smartphones, for example, send data to each other to provide us with the daily menu for meals. In that way, semiconductors help connect things to the Internet.
Scientists and engineers have been improving semiconductors to make devices faster, smaller, and more efficient.
Semiconductors are tiny but mighty! It will change our lives into something more futuristic.
