Gibbons became famous not only because they were discovered recently, but also because of their name. They were named after a famous movie character. This is because the way apes move from one tree to another is similar to how the movie character moves.

This news became popular because some people disagree with how the scientists named gibbons from popular culture. However, it is true that the scientists made something unusual.
