不定詞(to do)の副詞的用法は、名詞以外の語句や文を修飾し、「~するために…」「~して…」「~するとは…」などの意味を表します。

【感情の原因】~して…
例文:
“He studies so hard to become a doctor.”
「彼は医者になるために一生懸命勉強しています。」(目的)
“She grew up to be an idol.”
「彼女は成長して(結果として)アイドルになりました。」(結果)
“You are very kind to help me.”
「私を助けてくれるとはあなたはとても親切ですね。」(判断の根拠)
“I’m glad to see you again.”
「またお会いできてうれしいです。」(感情の原因)
