何かをすることが”面白い”とか、何かをすることが”必要だ”と言いたいとき、どう表現するのでしょうか。英語では、最も伝えたいメッセージを最初に提示します。そこで、It is fun(おもしろい)、It is important(重要です)とまず言ってから、後で具体的な行為(すること)を示す展開になります。
また、「for 人」の部分は、「人にとって」という表現になり、
意味上の主語の役割を果たします。
Let’s learn how to use the expression “It is ~ (for someone) to do ~” to say things like “It is fun to do ~” or “It is important for someone to do ~.”
例文:
“It is interesting for Mary to teach English.”
「マリーにとって、英語を教えることはおもしろい。」
