Part 0　今日の学習内容

分詞という文法を使うと、動詞の意味を持った名詞を修飾する働きを持つ形容詞が作れます。

【現在分詞】動詞を～ingの形にする：～している〇〇
【過去分詞】動詞を～edの形にする：～されている〇〇

分詞を伴うまとまりが＜2語以上＞となるときは、修飾される名詞の後ろに置いて修飾します。

これを「後置修飾」と呼びます。

例文：

“There was a beautiful pair of shoes made of leather.”

「革で作られたきれいなくつがありました。」

“She asked a store staff standing near her.”

「彼女は近くに立っている店員に尋ねました。」
