Climate Change
Climate change has been one of the biggest problems in the world. It increases the risk of natural calamities such as typhoon, hurricane, and tornado. These calamities have been threatening the lives of millions of people. The annual loss from these calamities is about a hundred million dollars. Because of this, the United Nations Development Program has aimed for $100 billion of funds annually for disaster risk management by 2020. The fund will be used to help developing countries lessen the damages brought by natural disasters.
