The number of crimes all over the world has been increasing over the past years. This has a negative effect on a country’s development. It affects economic growth that often results in long-term issues.
According to the United Nations Development Program, without peace and security, sustainable development could not be achieved. In order to attain peace and security, the government should focus on reducing all forms of crime. Plans on how to strengthen the rule of law that protects human rights should be established.
