This is one of the reasons there is crime everywhere. Underdeveloped countries that suffer from scarcity experience higher crime rates. Poverty is a complex social issue. It is more than just a lack of money. It is also about having the awareness to make wise decisions to break from the cycle of poverty. To solve this longtime problem, more organizations are launching livelihood programs to support the poor.
