Industrial Fishing
The Earth’s surface is 71% covered with water. Bodies of water such as oceans, seas, and the likes are essential to humans. There are about three billion people whose job are dependent on industrial fishing. However, the number of fish catch has been decreasing over the past years. This is because of water pollution caused by land-based activities such as mining, manufacturing, and urban development. To solve this problem, the government has established projects that aim to protect oceans and other bodies of water from the harmful effects of water pollution.
