PART B_2
Energy has always played an essential part in our lives and it will continue to do so in the future. The word “energy” was developed by a Greek scientist named Aristotle meaning “being at work”. Everything that we do requires energy so that we can move and work. Also, energy is needed to produce electricity and oil. The world needs an enormous amount of energy to continue living. It comes in different types such as heat, light, air, sound, and electrical energy.
In 2017, Japan is the fifth-highest country that produces electricity in the world. The country is getting its energy from the main types of fuels like oil, natural gas, and coal. These fuels come from other countries such as Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Iran. Japan continues to research for its improvements in order to save the use of energy and help in solving environmental problems. The country has improved in saving energy from 1970 to 1990. By the year 2030, Japan aims to save energy by 35%.
