PART B_2
Women across the globe continue to face gender issues. For example, unfair treatment in the workplace, limited access to education, and safety risks. In the United States during the late 1890s and early 1900s, women successfully fought for the right to vote and access to job opportunities. This movement inspired many other movements in the following decades.
Women have achieved so much in science, the arts, and business in today’s world. However, in some countries, young girls are still denied the right to study. Furthermore, women in some of those countries do not have the right to vote or work. With the rise of digital communication, many people, including men, have been speaking up to put pressure on their governments to create laws protecting women’s rights.
