Let’s check our lesson goal. In this material, you will learn how to use the regular and irregular past tense forms of verbs.

この教材では、不規則的な動詞の過去形を使って話す練習をします。

GRAMMAR POINT

この教材では、動詞の過去形を使って話す練習をします。

過去形は基本的に、動詞の語尾に~edもしくは~dを付けます。一方、この法則と違う変形をする不規則動詞もあります。

e.g., I ate bread for breakfast today.　今日はパンを朝食に食べました。

e.g., She took medicine this morning.　彼女は今朝薬を飲みました。

e.g., He was angry yesterday.　彼は昨日怒っていました。
