Rakugo is a traditional way of storytelling. One person is playing all the characters. People learn about Japanese culture and humor at the same time. This began during the Edo period. Performers of rakugo have passed down this tradition to different generations.

Kimie has performed rakugo in different countries like France, USA, and China. She has had a few problems during her shows. One of them is that since rakugo reflects Japanese culture, she had a hard time performing for non-Japanese viewers. Still, everyone enjoyed the show and it was a good experience for her.
