June is a special month in Japan. Do you know why?
June is the only month that doesn’t have a holiday. It means every month except June has a holiday.
Japan ranked first out of 12 countries in terms of number of national holidays. However, when it comes to the number of used paid holidays, Japan ranked as the second worst.
What does it mean?
According to statistics, approximately 60% of people feel guilty when taking paid holidays.
Everyone can enjoy a good number of national holidays, but only a few people take on the opportunity to do so.
