A male student disagrees with the new policy and gives two reasons why he is against the policy.

4.Why does the person think it’s unfair?
First, the man feels that it’s unfair that only first-year students must get these cards. He is worried because second- and third-year students may also be careless and damage the lab equipment. And he thinks first-year students may get blamed for the damage.

Second, he adds that the deposit is too high for first-year students. He says that many students don’t have part-time jobs and that he doesn’t have extra money.
