Sample answer
A female student and male students are talking about an announcement made by the chemistry department.
According to the announcement, first-year chemistry students will need to obtain key cards to gain access to the laboratory.
A male student disagrees with the new policy and gives two reasons why he is against the policy.
First, the man feels that it’s unfair that only first-year students must get these cards. He is worried because second- and third-year students may also be careless and damage the lab equipment. And he thinks first-year students may get blamed for the damage.
Second, he adds that the deposit is too high for first-year students. He says that many students don’t have part-time jobs and that he doesn’t have extra money.
