TEACHING EXPERIENCE:

I became a student teacher for elementary students, dealing with students ages 6 to 10. I taught them simple and basic lessons that the teachers required me to teach. I prepared all the lessons ahead of time by making lesson materials, flashcards, and activities.

From this experience, I learned that to teach someone, I need to listen and respond to them.

ABILITIES:

-Patience: being supportive, directing students to the most useful resources, and allowing each day to be a new beginning for each learner.

-Adaptability: I can adapt to every student that I work with. I can handle change, no matter how serious it might be.

-Positivity: Always give the students praise, emphasize their strong points, and encourage them to challenge themselves.

-Active Listening: focusing on the meaning and intent of what someone is saying.
