Hi, I am Maricel P. Jumao-as. People call me "Cel". I am 42 years old. My hobby is reading. When I read, I feel like I am talking to the world. Why? It is because I could learn new things about the people and things which are beyond my knowledge. I love talking and making friends too. I this way, I could expand myself by being involved in the community. That is why teaching becomes my passion since in this way, I could make use of my interest into a great help to me and to the community. The best thing I see about myself is that I am able to adjust my behavior and communication skill depending to the level of person who I am with, maybe because of my long experiences as an ESL teacher here and abroad. I really love traveling and eating local foods. I am very sure that most of the time I could really have a good time in mingling or learning with others due to my wide experiences about different cultures and traditions. My short term goal is to finish the task I have in every time with full of success and my long term goal to be able to achieve whatever plans I have. I am an outgoing person. Most of my friends and students say that I am very funny to be with, but serious to work or teach. There are two things that are unique in me. First, I look older than my age so most of the people cannot guess how old I am. And, I look more serious even I am talking already with jokes. That's all about me.
