I am currently taking Bachelor of Science in Nursing as my pre-med course to medicine, where effective communication with people from diverse backgrounds is essential in addressing their medical needs. This skill has proven valuable in ESL teaching, as it allows me to adapt my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. I also have a strong background in using the English language in various academic and creative pursuits. I worked on a research project that was recognized as the “Best Research” in my academic institution, participated in national documentary filmmaking contests such as the National Commission for Children's Television's Documentary Contest, and spent six years in campus journalism, writing for the school paper and competing in Regional Press Conferences. These experiences have strengthened my command of English and equipped me with the ability to teach it effectively to others.
