Hey there, I’m Ruth, and I’m so glad you’re here!



I’ve been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) for 13 months now, and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Currently, I’m an ESL teacher with a wonderful Japanese company, where I get to meet students from all walks of life and help them communicate in English. Every day is an exciting challenge, and I love watching my students grow in their skills and confidence.



I hold a TESOL, TEFL, and ESL certificate, and I’m always looking for ways to improve my teaching methods and make learning as fun and engaging as possible. I strongly believe that learning should never feel like a chore, and I aim to create a classroom environment where everyone feels comfortable, curious, and ready to take on new challenges!



Outside of teaching, you’ll usually find me talking about all sorts of topics—I love having conversations about anything and everything. Whether it’s deep discussions or light banter, I’m all in. I also have a huge passion for traveling, cooking, and baking. Exploring new places, trying out different cuisines, and experimenting with recipes is something that brings me so much joy. I also love pushing myself to learn new things every day, whether it's a new skill, language, or technique in the kitchen!
