Hello! My name is Melchie, and I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated English teacher with a strong passion for helping learners build confidence and fluency in the English language. I’m originally from the Philippines, and I have been teaching English for 5 years. Throughout my experience, I’ve worked with learners of various ages, levels, and backgrounds, including children, teenagers, and adults.

I hold a TEFL Certificate, and I am committed to continuous professional growth. I strongly believe that language learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and interactive. That’s why I design my lessons to be student-centered, focusing on communication, real-life situations, and practical skills that students can use immediately.

In my classroom, I create a supportive and positive environment, where students feel confident to speak, ask questions, and make mistakes—because mistakes are part of learning! I enjoy incorporating activities such as role-plays, games, discussions, and multimedia tools to keep students engaged and motivated. My teaching style is often described as patient, friendly, and encouraging, and I always adapt my lessons to match each student’s learning pace and goals.

Aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, and cooking which help me connect with students from different cultures. I love meeting people from around the world and learning about their experiences, traditions, and languages. This inspires me to continue growing as both a teacher and a learner.
