Beware of Fake Items
Fake items bought online have a negative impact on the sales of the official stores. Most items sold in major online stores are not actually sold by the companies that produced the original items. In 2017, 58 percent of the major online store’s sales came from other sellers. Most of the time, toys, baby products, and other items sold by them might not be as safe as the official ones.

The major online store, however, started a program in 2017 that allows official stores to register and trademark their items in order to find fake ones. They also need to use a unique code on their products. But some official stores say that there should be more to be done.

The online store explains that official stores are responsible for the quality of their products, and the law says that the platform seller (the major online store) itself is not liable for fake items. They also say they’re helping smaller companies sell.

Some experts worry that not enough will be done to prevent fake items until a serious accident happens.

The role of The World Food Programme (WFP)
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest organization to help those who are the victims of war, civil conflict, drought, floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, and natural disasters. They help save lives by providing food aid.

The WFP has won the Nobel Peace Prize for its efforts to tackle world hunger in 2020. The year before, the organization saved about 100 million people in need.
The committee’s decision to award the Nobel Peace Prize was unexpected because solving hunger didn’t seem to have to do with peace, but they explained that hunger and war are deeply linked. They also added that one issue cannot be solved without solving the other.

The WFP was honored for setting an example of how important it is for each country to work together. World unity and cooperation are the keys to solving global issues.

A Female Leader in Asia
Some countries acted fast when the pandemic started. As the virus spread beyond China, it seems that some countries led by women had smart ways to fight it.

The President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-wen(ツァイ インウェン), was one of the first to realize her country was facing danger. Her first strong actions included stopping airplanes from China and making more face masks and shields.

She became the first female president of Taiwan in 2016. Since then, people have liked her for what she’s done, in addition to dealing with the pandemic. She has made significant financial plans in the semiconductor* industry. People praised her for keeping relations with countries such as the United States and Japan while handling problems with China.
