(Please read aloud the passage below.)
PART D_2
High school to me seemed like it passed by so quickly, almost too fast sometimes. I acquired many important life lessons as well as made life-long companions. I discovered the value of hard work, commitment, and also how to know your real friends from the others.
It was difficult but a great experience that I will miss for a long time. I can say that one of the biggest life lessons I have learned from high school is that you should forever believe in yourself. If you believe in yourself and you believe that you can obtain anything you want in life, good things will happen to you.
One of my future dreams is to have a beach resort someday, where I could relax when it’s time to retire from work. Of course, I have to be mentally prepared for what I am going to face through the process of achieving it. There have been some ups and downs along this new journey of mine but I can’t complain. Believing in yourself doesn’t indicate that your life will be smooth sailing. What it really means is that you will have the confidence to go through the uncertain situations.
PART D_3
Now, please ask me some questions about my presentation.

PART C_2
In the middle of a conversation, Japanese people often ask each other, “What blood type are you?” Why do Japanese people like to categorize people on almost any occasion? For example, they call those who think logically “left-brained,” and those who think emotionally “right-brained.” Similarly, many people keep on labeling others as the “science” type or the “art” type, even years after college graduation. Perhaps categorizing people by blood type is the most extreme example. Maybe it’s true that people can be categorized into types based on what they have in common. However, if you ask “What is your blood type?” to foreigners you meet for the first time, they will be surprised. Perhaps in a country like America, where everyone has a different background, categorizing people is useless.
