An example of biomimicry is when scientists imitate the pattern of shark’s skin to create walls of hospitals. Shark’s skin is known for preventing bacteria from entering their bodies. Benyus believes that through biomimicry, people will be more aware of the environment.

As humans look at ways for innovations, they should not forget to consider if these would be nature-friendly. Remember that the Earth is their home and they should take care of it not just for themselves but also for future generations.

Instead, he points out that his positive attitude, years of experience, and passion are the reasons why he is able to help more patients in need of his care.
