PART B_2

Dear employees,

Good day! This letter is to let you know that we are considering opening a branch in another country. Because of new emerging markets, we believe it is high time for us to extend our business. Our cars are in high demand in some parts of the world, but they are generally undistributed. We want to capitalize on such markets and opportunities.

Japan comes to mind as an example. According to market research, car racing has become a prominent sport in the country, with one out of every four males between the ages of 21 and 30 participating in it. We believe we will be able to profit from the opportunities in Japan.

In line with our timetable, we will be sending a team to Japan next month to begin negotiations with the local officials. We want to have your support as we open our first international office.

Sincerely,

John Garcia
CEO
John Motors Inc.

Regarding the payment terms of the contract, we would like to adjust the dates.

Three Easy Steps to Getting Out of Debt

Many people find themselves in debt. The majority of the time, it’s due to the accumulation of bills and loans. Even so, there are numerous options for getting out of debt. Here are three options for doing so. The first method is to create a budget. Find out how much you spend in a month and how you might save money. Budgeting can help you get out of debt in this way. The second option is to consider how you will divide your payments.

Pay more than the minimum amount owing on each debt if you have extra cash. Remember: the obligation with the highest interest must be paid off first. It is the most effective long-term debt relief strategy.

The third option is to pay off the obligation that has the smallest principal first. Seeing a principal decrease to zero encourages people to continue saving to pay off additional obligations.

When you’ve paid off all of your debts, you’ll be able to put more money aside and use it for more important things in the future.

The Path to a Creative Career

Stacy Michaels

Five years ago, I took the biggest risk of my life. After working as a copywriter, I decided to pursue my goal of being a creative director. My breakthrough arrived when I became the creative director of Glam Clothing Inc.

If there is a piece of wisdom I can impart to anyone who wants to be a creative director, it would be to research the business side of creativity. Your inspiration can take you to greater heights but you must also understand things from your client’s perspective. Having a solid grasp of the market will help you strengthen your brand’s image and identity. In my case, I dedicated my time reading various books and magazines on clothes. I visited multiple stores and observed the customers while they shopped; this allowed me to keep my fingers on the pulse of the fashion industry.

If you aspire to become a creative director, you must learn to juggle the diverse duties involved in bringing creative projects to life. The key to any creative career is to balance ideas and technical skills.

Hello, Judith. I called you here today to discuss your evaluation. How do you feel about your performance this quarter?
Judith
Well, I think that I’m doing well in communicating with my clients and meeting their needs.
Jesse
That’s great to hear. As an account executive, you’re expected to establish a solid relationship with your clients. However, I do notice that you get distracted easily these days. Is something the matter?
Judith
I apologize, sir. Lately, I have been feeling exhausted.
Jesse
I understand. But you have to remember that by not being focused, you might end up compromising the quality of your work. I understand that large tasks can be overwhelming. I think it would be best for you to break your tasks into chunks.
Judith
Yes, I should definitely do that.

If you split a project up into smaller tasks that require less time, you’ll feel like the end goal is more achievable. After all, smaller tasks are easier to tackle.
Judith
Thank you for the advice, sir. I appreciate it.
