Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras

The Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras is a high rice field located on the northern part of the Philippines. It looks like steps that are carved into a mountain. This is about 1500 meters tall and has more terraces compared to other rice terraces that can be found in the country. This unique creation was built over 2000 years ago by the people of Ifugao. This has been part of the World’s wonders since 1996.
